Compression socks and hosiery are the mainstay of healthy, energized legs.

Support your legs, support your life!

Medical Compression Socks

Graduated compression socks/stockings assist your body in returning the blood and fluid pooled in the lower legs back into your active circulation – thereby energizing your legs and entire body!

Our precise measurements, custom fit and uniquely woven graduated compression socks and hosiery ensures that the compression is greatest at your ankle, gradually reducing up your calf and potentially into your thigh to naturally restore your blood flow to a normal state thereby aiding overall circulation.

If after your evaluation it is deemed necessary, Dr. Jane Burk-Vassallo will provide you with a prescription for graduated medical compression therapy. A member of the aspireMD healthcare team will properly measure and custom fit your socks/stockings based on your individualized prescription. Graduated medical compression has come a long way from the beige bandages of your grandparents’ era. Today’s choices include everything from stylish merino wool socks, athletic wear, business attire, patterned thigh high pantyhose to bright and bold socks and leggings, making graduated medical compression an easy solution to incorporate into your everyday life. Our healthcare team will also ensure you are familiar and comfortable with the recommended way to wear your product as well as proper care to ensure longevity. To be most effective, the socks or stockings should be put on at the start of your day and removed before you go to bed.

Washing Instructions:

  • Hand or delicate machine-wash with warm water and mild soap or detergent. You may purchase a specific washing solution made for support socks/stockings from aspireMD if desired.
  • Do not use chlorine bleach.
  • Do not use fabric softener.
  • Warm water rinse.
  • Lay flat to air-dry.
  • Support socks/stockings may be dried in the dryer on low heat or delicate setting.
  • Placing your socks/stockings in a mesh laundry bag will help protect them during the wash cycle.
  • If silicone bands have lost their hold, hand wash with soap and hot water (40oC, 105oF) to restore their grip.

It is recommended to replace your graduated medical compression every six months. Many private health insurance plans cover some or all of the cost. We are happy to provide the necessary paperwork so you may seek reimbursement. The aspireMD team is always available to help keep your legs healthy!
